Yes!! You are correct. Thank you so much for reminding me of La Banquise.
It is open 24 hours, yum!

Thanks for helping Doodler remember!
After one month of Tumbling Doodler’s Revue would like to thank 100+ followers for all of your awesome support! You’re so doodling great. Seriously.
:)
Doodler downloaded Critter Crunch from the PSN years before the security breach, and is still playing it wayyyyyy too often.
LOL! Sure, I can admit to your accusation of “vapours” - to a degree.
I definitely grew more fond of J. Cole’s debut album Cole World The Sideline Story with each listen.
5 mics!
This song is catchy and has been stuck in my head. Despite the title’s implications the lyrics are about time being more valuable than money. I invite you to join me in this, (an intentionally funny) swag showcase, wherein you gather every watch in your home and take a photo of it. Enjoy Doodler’s hilarious entry above :)
Since I first heard “Who Dat”, I have been a J. Cole fan.
His debut album, Cole World The Sideline Story, is available now.
Check it out doodlers!

Awesome. C’mon doodlers, this November we’ll finish something. Why don’t we write a novel?
From nanowrimo.org :
NaNo in a Nutshell
What: Writing one 50,000-word novel from scratch in a month’s time.
Who: You! We can’t do this unless we have some other people trying it as well. Let’s write laughably awful yet lengthy prose together.
Why: The reasons are endless! To actively participate in one of our era’s most enchanting art forms! To write without having to obsess over quality. To be able to make obscure references to passages from our novels at parties. To be able to mock real novelists who dawdle on and on, taking far longer than 30 days to produce their work.
When: You can sign up anytime to add your name to the roster and browse the forums. Writing begins November 1. To be added to the official list of winners, you must reach the 50,000-word mark by November 30 at midnight. Once your novel has been verified by our web-based team of robotic word counters, the partying begins.
Where: You write wherever you’d like. On your computer, on your iPad, on a typewriter—-anywhere is fine, just as long as you’re writing! For a more in-depth NaNoWriMo overview, visit the devilishly handsome “What is NaNoWriMo?“and “How NaNoWriMo Works” pages.
Cloudy Night of the Northern Lights, by Fredrick Broms (Northern Lights Photography)
On September 26, a large solar coronal mass ejection smacked into planet Earth’s magnetosphere producing a severe geomagnetic storm and wide spread auroras. Captured here near local midnight from Kvaløya island outside Tromsø in northern Norway, the intense auroral glow was framed by parting rain clouds. Tinted orange, the clouds are also in silhouette as the tops of the colorful shimmering curtains of northern lights extend well over 100 kilometers above the ground. Though the auroral rays are parallel, perspective makes them appear to radiate from a vanishing point at the zenith. Near the bottom of the scene, an even more distant Pleiades star cluster and bright planet Jupiter shine on this cloudy northern night.(via APOD: 2011 September 30 - Cloudy Night of the Northern Lights)
Doodler will see this in person one day…

I thoroughly enjoyed Patrick DeWitt’s The Sisters Brothers. Currently short listed for the Man Booker Prize and the Giller Prize, this novel is receiving well-deserved recognition. I also hear that there is a movie deal, with John C. Reilly possibly playing one of the Sisters brothers.

Mmmmmm red velvet cake!!! All the doodlers are drooling just thinking about it! Double the cream cheese frosting! If (like me) you have a nut allergy, skip the pecans. Personally I also skip any suggestion of coconut. If you have not tried this cake, have some as soon as possible. It will change your life, honestly.
